on the Day of
Male Facelift Surgery

On the day of your male facelift surgery, you’ll be welcomed into our beautiful office in Youngstown near Akron and Cleveland. You’ll check in with our staff and be led to an operating room where you can put on a surgical gown. You can go over any last-minute questions, and Dr. Gentile will mark your skin for the incisions.

You’ll be given general anesthesia or local anesthesia with sedation so that you will be completely comfortable and asleep for the entirety of the procedure. Dr. Gentile will make incisions at the marked locations, tighten the muscles, reposition excess fat, remove excess skin, and secure the opening with sutures. The procedure generally takes several hours to complete.

After the surgery is complete, you’ll wake up and be groggy from the anesthesia, so you will need to be driven home by a reliable contact prepared in advance.

Recovery
