Youngstown Ohio, August 23 2012

For the 85% percent of women over 20 years of age who are troubled by cellulite, those unwelcome lumps and dimpling on the thighs and hips, the release of Cellulaze comes as good news. Youngstown plastic surgeon, Dr. Richard D. Gentile of the Gentile Facial Plastic & Aesthetic Laser Center with offices in Youngstown-Warren, Akron-Canton and Cleveland, is the first in Northern Ohio to offer Cellulaze, the minimally invasive laser procedure for treating and reducing cellulite and providing long lasting results in only one treatment.

Dr. Gentile stated, "Patients are excited to learn that there is finally a long-term, clinically proven solution for the treatment of cellulite. This is a problem that affects many women, even those who are at their ideal body weight and are in great shape." Dr. Gentile explained, "In my laser contouring practice, cellulite has remained the number one complaint of women, and until now, we couldn’t offer effective treatment options. Cellulaze is revolutionary because it allows us to address the underlying structural problem of cellulite in one treatment instead of treating the problem superficially with repeated treatments."

Performed under local anesthesia, Cellulaze utilizes a unique, side-firing laser to target the causes of cellulite beneath the skin: pockets of fat, stiffened fibrous bands and thin skin. During the procedure, a tiny laser fiber is inserted under the skin, which gently heats the skin and melts the fat. Next the laser releases the fibrous bands that create the dimpling or "orange-peel" effect and prevents them from pulling down on the skin. This release creates a smoother, healthier look on the skin’s surface. Finally, the laser energy stimulates collagen production to increase the skin’s thickness and elasticity for a more even appearance.

Cellulaze is best for those who are at a healthy weight with moderate, isolated areas of cellulite. The procedure typically takes 1-2 hours to perform and offers minimal downtime. Most people are able to resume their daily activities the day following treatment. Results are evident almost immediately and are fully realized as new collagen develops over the next several months. Developed by Cynosure, Cellulaze was FDA cleared for use in the U.S. market in February of 2012 and has been available in the UK since September of 2011.

Cellulite, which predominantly affects women, is caused by a combination of factors, which are primarily outside of our control. Heredity, age, weight changes, and the thickness and elasticity of the skin may all play a role in the visibility of cellulite. Treatments in the past have been largely ineffective because the underlying structural problem of cellulite was not addressed. Cellulaze is the first cellulite reduction treatment to provide long-lasting results in a single treatment. Much to the delight of women everywhere, stubborn cellulite may have finally met its match.

Does anybody really “Need” a Park Avenue Facelift?

I think if we look at this question there are a few questions to ask & answer. If we substitute “Manhattan Facelift” for “Park Avenue Facelift” or even “Beverly Hills Facelift” we know for a fact it is going to be awfully expensive.

FAT GRAFTING AND FAT TRANSFER REVERSAL

Fat grafting creates a natural augmentation for the face using your own “filler”. Fat is usually harvested from the abdomen, flanks, or inner thighs; and about one third of the volume remains after the treatment.
